Self catering accommodation on the beautiful Isle of Seil
Home The Apartment The Area Things to do Useful links

This unique building was built in the early 1900's for the Free Church of Scotland and used as a church until the 1950s. It was subsequently used for a variety of purposes and had fallen into disrepair when we took it over in 2005. We have spent four years converting the old church into a beautiful and unique dwelling. The project was featured on Channel 5's 'Build A New Life In The Country' series. As part of the renovation we created a completely self-contained self catering apartment in what was the old vestry.

The apartment is let on a weekly basis Saturday to Saturday. Short breaks are available on request from Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday.

The apartment is furnished unusually in art deco style to match the main house and features underfloor heating. There is one double bedroom plus a sofa bed in the living room which sleeps two more if required. There is a Freesat TV with CD/DVD player. We also offer our guests a free wi-fi connection, and we are in one of the very few spots on the island with mobile phone reception!

We accept well-behaved dogs provided they are supervised at all times. (We have hens.)
